About The lumber shed
The Lumber Shed opened it's door's in August of 2010. Charles A. Svec saw a need in the marketplace after the building boom of 2008 and opened shop. Mr. Svec, had decided to get out of the lumber sale industry in 2017. He saw this young mans talent and passion in working with wood, and sold The Lumber Shed to Ryan Stout.
Ryan Stout serves as Owner and Manager of the shop. He has worked in the lumber industry since he was 16. He is happily married and has two wonderful boys. Initially, he started with cabinet building, and from there he went on to master the craft of customizing wood to his customers needs. Ryan listens to what people want, and he helps them accomplish what is needed to get their projects finished.
The Lumber Shed specializes in a complete inventory of domestic Kiln - dried Northern Hardwoods. Clients include builders, artists, woodworkers and anyone with a project that needs that special slab or board. Shop services include, straight lining, sanding, glue ups, re-sawing, and more.
